Northern Lights Airpark- Lake Champlain, Vermont

Flying NW out of the Adirondack was clear, cold and bumpy. I have one more stop north before i head for home. Northern Lights is a neat little grass airstrip and seaplane base on the north end of lake Champlain. I got to say hello to Jason and thanked him for helpful information that he gave me on planning this trip (see blog entree at the start). This little grass strip has more flying activity on it than most paved AP in Fl. Thanks to Scott and Tim from Scootair for the fuel, crash pad, and a neat place to hang out ( http://www.scootair.org/). Storms came through last night and gusty headwinds today....so i plan to head out Friday am for the finger lakes NY and hopefully into OH before dark. then its on to WV and KY by Saturday.
